The WHO states that 10 million deaths could be prevented by 2015 by improving access to essential medicines.
UAEM is an international group of students and researchers who are working to improve access to medicines through changes in university policy – and has been successful in other USA and UK institutions.
UAEM Southampton has been running for a year and is now entering an exciting stage of development, gaining much support from students and staff.
Come along and learn more about the access gap and what you can do about it!
