The 8th annual Environmental Rock Festival is coming soon! Combining environmental awareness and EIGHTEEN fantastic live music acts, it's going to be a fantastic day (and now night) out for all the family.
FREE ENTRY during the day, and our brand new evening Rock event is the bargain price of just £2 after 8pm!!!
During the day, the event is packed with information, ideas, tips and activities to help you turn that little bit greener – helping you make small changes that make a big difference to your local community, the environment and may even save you money!
Last year there were over 20 different stalls, live local bands, a BBQ, free products from Lush and Divine Chocolate, face painting, free vegetarian and vegan cakes, a raffle (with eco-prizes), free eco-products, organic drinks....
This year we're making it even bigger and better. Chef Bernie will be cooking up a local food feast including home-made organic burgers and a vegetarian curry... You can join in with the Rhythms of the Earth African Drum Circle... There will be a market section with stalls selling local and sustainable products and more... There's a Swap Shop (but no Noel Edmonds, sorry!), bird feeder and seed bomb workshops... And information from the likes of Greenpeace, Hampshire Conservation Volunteers, Transition Network, Friends of the Earth and many more.
We'll update the event page, and the Environmental Rock group with the full list of attendees and activities very soon.
To top things off, we have a truly stunning array of local music, with 18 acts playing over 12 hours of music! Full details of those bands to come very soon too!
