Green Action's first meeting of the term is tomorrow evening, meeting as usual at 7pm in The Stag's Head for main start at half 7 in Nuffield Theatre building Lecture Room F (the one round the corner from the main circular room).
SUGA are taking a lead role in running Environmental Rock this year, which is Southampton's annual environmentally themed music festival, and so for the next couple of weeks we're focusing on preparing for it. So tomorrow we will be idea-storming for activities we'll be running and the like, and next week will be putting together what we plan this week.
We'll also be planning for Envirorag week which is next week too, when we'll have stalls alongside other groups and will be co-hosting a Transition Uni conference with SUSU E&E on Tuesday 27th (details to follow).
Next Saturday is also the second volunteering day for The Growing Project, so if you'd like to come along this Saturday to help build raised beds for the project (which is to get people living in homeless shelters growing their own vegetables and involved with the community) then email me back asap. We'll be meeting by half 9 outside The Dungeon to walk over to the site, you'll need to bring your own lunch this time, no tools or experience required.
