Building 44 - Shackleton Building (behind the SUSU and opposite the Physics Building) Lecture Theatre A
’In light of Nick Griffin’s comments stated on Question Time about the erosion of the indigenous British identity, we ask you to join us in a discussion on what it actually means to be considered British as an individual and/or as a part of cultural, political or religious groups that are present in Britain.
There will be student speakers from all of these different groups, followed by an open discussion where the audience is encouraged to give their particular views and experiences. Concluding this event, there will be a short documentary shown on being British in Contemporary Britain.’
