Oxbridge Interviews provides practice interviews for pupils applying for Oxford or Cambridge Universities. Set up by three Oxbridge graduates as a social enterprise, we believe that everyone should be able to fulfil their potential at university interviews, but currently many young people are held back by a lack of confidence and are put off by the interview 'mystique'.
Other mock interview services exist, but are expensive, charging to £500-£3,500. Oxbridge Interviews is different. We are part of the OxFizz social enterprise network, pioneering a new form of philanthropy. This means that a proportion of our profits go to the charity of the interviewer’s choice. In addition, each interview purchased with us allows us to fund a free interview for a pupil on our bursary programme.

Our volunteer interviewers provide practice interviews for pupils applying to university. Interviewers provide interviews for both our fee-paying service and our bursary programme. Interviews occur on selected weekend dates in the autumn at convenient times.

Required Skills and Training:
We are looking for recent Oxbridge graduates, or finalists about to graduate, who are interested in using their academic skills to provide interviews with us.
Interviewing with Oxbridge Interviews will involve:
- Undergoing a CRB check organised by us
- Participating in our one-day interactive training workshop, run by an experienced Oxford University tutor. This intensive session covers ‘Behind the scenes at Oxbridge’, plus interview theory & practice
- Committing to interviewing on Saturdays or Sundays of your choice during September-December
- Pre-interview preparation, by reading the interviewee’s Personal Statement and preparing questions
We also ask that you are willing to be flexible – and understanding of the fact that we are in our early stages as a social enterprise. We’re additionally keen that our interviewers play a real part in the development of Oxbridge Interviews, acting as Ambassadors and feeding back thoughts and ideas on progression.
