About us
The Southampton Hub is a focal point for charitable, ethical, campaigning and volunteering activities in Southampton Univeristy that aims to connect, support, inform and inspire students to make a positive difference, both locally and internationally.
With a website, email bulletins, weekly events and termly social networking meetings it works to develop a new generation of socially and environmentally conscious students who are empowered and educated to tackle today’s social and environmental challenges, both at university and afterwards. The Southampton Hub is run by students, for the benefit of students and student societies.
The Southampton Hub promotes volunteering and works to help student societies, charities and social enterprises become more than the sum of their parts through the exchange of experience, ideas and information. It encourages all member societies to forge strong strategic links with each other, academic institutions and the wider community.
