We are looking for people who are interested in being on the committee next year! If you are passionate, dedicated and fun Southampton Marrow may be for you! The committee positions are below:
Chairperson – responsible for chairing meetings and sets agendas and is also responsible for the smooth running of the committee. Also needs to liaise with Marrow National when necessary
Vice Chairperson– leads meetings, fills in when chairperson is absent and generally helps the chair with his (or her) roles.
Treasurer– Responsible for keeping financial records, paying in money and writing cheques to reimburse people when necessary
Secretary – Responsible for taking minutes of committee meetings, sending them out, and helping with all correspondence (including helping to manage the email account)
Clinic co-ordinator– Responsible for managing clinics– entails setting up and booking clinics, managing them on the day(s) and ensuring they run smoothly
Publicity co-ordinator– Advertising clinics, training and fundraising events; this also involves some liaison with other schools with the training department. Overall responsibility for promoting Marrow’s image
Fundraising co-ordinator– Responsible for co-ordinating fundraising events to raise money for Southampton Marrow
Training co-ordinator– Responsible for training and managing of Marrow volunteers - making sure that they are able to counsel potential donors effectively
