Support for International Change (SIC) SouthamptonSupport for International Change is a non-governmental organization founded with two main goals: · To limit the impact of HIV/AIDS in underserved communities · To train future leaders in international health and development SIC has been working in Tanzania since 2002 and we now provide a comprehensive range of free services to our target communities including: - Awareness campaigns - Mobile HIV testing and counseling - Training and support for Community Health Workers. Our volunteer programmes focus on teaching community members and school children about the transmission and prevention of HIV, as well as how to care for those already infected. SIC offers structured 8 week volunteer programmes open to students from the UK.
