KOP is the Kenyan Orphan Project. Founded by medical students in 2002, it aims to offer good and affordable healthcare to Kenyan families and orphans who are in need.
Today there are now several British universities involved in sending groups to Kenya on an annual basis. These groups from KOP have helped to build a hospital, and continue to contribute to the construction and funding of other projects to help with the increasing problems of poverty, disease, and lack of education.
